Empego Application

Guide to deploying the Empego application within your environment.

Requirements

Browser compatibility

Empego supports Chromium-based browsers like Chrome, Edge, Arc and Brave. Patients can additionally use Safari on Mac for answering follow-up and consultations.

Embedded WebView

In case of embedding the Empego frames within a host application using WebView or other technologies, you must be ready to maintain the embedded Chrome version binary up to date in a reasonable time-frame. We will make the best effort to support Chrome versions released in the last year by using features that were introduced in that time period. It is important on the integrator side to plan for regular update the WebView component.

Firewall configuration

If you have a firewall, the following domains will need to be accessible from the user workstation for the Empego web application to works correctly:

This includes the domain itself and its subdomains. Example, for empego.ca, those accesses should be allowed:

  • https://empego.ca - The domain itself.
  • https://app.empego.ca - Subdomains.
  • https://auth.app.empego.ca - Subdomains of subdomains

The protocols allowed should be https and wss. We will not use http unless to redirect users to the https equivalent.
